What sorts of movies are shown in the Wajang Theatre on the Zaandam? Are they first run titles (ones currently in the theatres)? Thanks.

I would not recomend Bourne Supremacy if the seas are rough that day, it has been known to enduce motion sickness due to some of the camera work. I saw it twice and loved it though :)

Forgot to ask about show times? Throughout the day and evening, or just in the daytime or just the evening? Thanks.

Movie times varied depending on the length of the feature. On 3/04 cruise, they showed 2 different movies, each one twice a day. Some of the typical times:

1:30 & 8; 3:45 & 10:15; 6 & 10; 2:15 & 8; 4 & 8; 1:30 & 10.

Also had fresh hot pop corn at each showng, and plenty of it. Didn't have to get there early to get bag (or two)......

Happy cruising.....

Happy cruising.....It's interesting that you had hot popcorn. I was on the Maasdam last week and kept hearing about the hot popcorn on this board. I took one bag and it was cold, as if it had been sitting there for hours. Each time I went by prior to a movie I checked the popcorn. The bags were always cold. I'm guessing they made them up in the morning and let them sit all day.

They were making it in the afternoon when the fire alarm went off during a Jackie Chan movie. I picked up a warm bag.. yum... I imagine if you asked the attendent to warm it in the microwave for a second it would be better than cold. For me.. I like it either way.
