Room service question

If my DH and I use the room service, do we have to tip the person that delivers it or is that included in the $10/per day per person we are charged?

We make sure we have a pile of one dollar bills for room service and tip the room service people as they deliver items.:cool:

No, it's not included. We always tip the steward who delivers our food at least $2.00 and sometimes more.

HAL's ship's services will tell you that the $10 pp/pd includes room service and the Pinnacle Grill, as well, if you leave it on prepaid. Anything extra is up to you.

We were told on the Prinsendam that everybody gets a small cut of the $10 per day and if everyone played the game and left their $10 on their account for the whole cruise then everyone would get a fair share.

In fact they went through the way it was split up. Unfortunately I did not write it down but the Crusie Director was very clear about how fair it was and that the crew were happy with the new arrangement. I must say, we did have a wonderful crew and no-one was looking for us to buy extra drinks in the lounges etc. or for extra tips.
