View Full Version : Book Exchange on the Noordam?

I am leaving for Europe on Wednesday (:eek:) and boarding the Noordam on Sunday (:D). I am making my list of stuff to pack and was wondering if there is a book exchange on board where I can leave one book and take another? If so, I will only have to take one or two books, rather than my usual 5 or 6 thus leaving me with more space for things I want to buy (or more clothes to wear) ;). Thanks in advance for your replies.

The Exploration's Cafe is also a library and has lots of hard cover books.
The book exchange is for paper back book only. There weren't many paper back books when we were on the ship in February.

There were about three shelves of paperbacks to trade last week.

Sorry -- my mistake -- and to think I just sailed on her.
The Library on the Noordam is still on Deck 3 -- Promenade Deck,
It really depends if a lot of people turn in paperback books -- sometimes there are a lot and sometimes barely anything.

Yes, and it's a nice one. The books are very well chosen, interesting, and cover a lot of different subjects. You won't need to take any books to read while you're on the Noordam. No need to rely on the paperback exchange unless you want to switch out your airplane books.

It was three weeks ago! Explorations, the library, and the Internet center are all one big area. The paperback exchange is in a corner.

Thanks all! I will take one ariplane book and nothing else. I will borrow from the library and/or switch out from the book exchange such as it is depending on what titles there are. Good thing there are choices since I just packed and am tight already!:o
