Found out that Mark Zeller, formerly Bev. Manager on the Zuiderdam when you were on, will be returning to the Zuiderdam on 11/20 for two months. I believe he has been promoted to F&B Manager. Won't be too long before he will be a HM, IMO.

But I'm a little disappointed. :( I'll be on the Westerdam in Early Feb and was hoping he'd be on their newest one. I'm glad to hear he was made F&B mgr - I knew he would, and I'm also sure he'll be HM soon, like his father. He was the sharpest staff person on the ship when I was on. And the nicest, most personable ship's staff person I've ever met on any line.

He will also be as good as his Dad was as a HM too. Mark has been sailing since he was a very little boy, and we met him with his Mom when they were on our Christmas cruise back in the early 80's. Mark is also a real gentleman and even came over to this "old" lady and asked her to dance at one of the Black and White Balls. I was very impressed even though we've known him for years he didn't have to do this, but it sure showed his upbringing.

Liz - sounds as though Mark is exactly like his Dad and will be a wonderful HM some day. Sure do miss Dirk. (sad face)
