I will be not only celebrating the 4th but the start of a New Job and Exciting New Career that will start Monday morning. Due to CC rules I cannot disclose much but let's just say I will now be working in the travel industry selling cruises:) You can always email me for more info ;)
I look forward to going back to work after 8 mnths of unemployment.

Thanks :) Actually I am already planning a few cruises for 2010 once of which will for sure be the Rotterdam to Alaska in early September. But in my new postion I will need to expand my horizons in cruise lines so am thinking about doing the Sapphire Princess but then again with all the options I could end up doing the Caribbean who knows :D

Many Thanks to all of you :) Eight months of Unemployment has been long but I was very fortunate to take advantage of the time off by cruising. My biggest fear was that our cruising days would be over :o at least for a while. While they will not be as frequent as it has been this past year ;) it seems it will go back to normal of being able to do 3 to maybe even 4 weeks per year as long as there is coverage at work. But since I will only get one week paid by next summer I am sure we will be booking Inside or Ocean View but I am fine with that as long as I can be on a ship. My new position is actually at a Call Center that they tell me keeps very busy. So I will be talking about cruising all day, looking at the computer and talking on the phone......sounds like my unemployment :D except not being in Facebook or CC. But my new employer knows about the Banner Waves and posting Where's The Fleet here on CC and thinks what I do is great. So I am definitely not going away :)

Thanks so much, yes it was October 31st when my last position was eliminated but I have to admit that the time flew by quickly of course having had 6 weeks of cruising in that time helped it to fly by :D

I look forward to starting this new career that brings together my passion with some of my skills.:)
