Eurodam Cabin VF4006 - size of verdandah

Dear fellow cruisers,

we just booked one week on the Eurodam, sailing on Jan 9th 2010.
I was really excited about the verandah, but now I am worried about the size of them. Are they big enough to sit, with a chair, or can you just step outside? I am kind of worried that it is a total waste of money...

Are they big enough to sit, with a chair, or can you just step outside?It will be 9 ft x 7.5 ft. You'll have two chairs, a footstool, and a small table. However, you'll have a steel-walled railing, so you won't see anything but sky or nearby mountains when seated.

Just be aware that if you booked with the possibility of an upgrade, you could be 'upgraded' to a VT category. The VT cabins do have a balcony that one can only stand on - NO room for a chair.
