ville saguenay

In October we will be in ville saguenay from 7am until 4pm, Does the tender leave passengers off in centre of town ? Also is the town interesting and big enough to stay there all day or should we take an excursion. Never been to this part of the world before so any information and suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I read a post recently, and saw a picture on Google Earth, that the ships dock in La Baie now, instead of tender. I'm not sure exactly where the pier is though.
