I am leaving on the Zaandam for the 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruise. I was wondering if anyone knew the dress for the different evenings of the cruise. All I know is there are 2 formal, 2 semi-formal, and 3 casual. I would like to book the Pinnacle prior to sailing for one of the casual nights.

Pick the night you'll be in port the latest, almost always a casual night.

First sea day the dinner was formal and also the last full sea day. Informal dress was coat and tie for men, with the tie optional. From what I saw, the dress code was not enforced. Formal night several men in their 30's dined in regular golf looking shirts. All the ladies at least had a pants suit on. One guy even found it necessary to wear a bright red sport coat and tie. The casual night they requested you at least wear a dress type shirt with buttons. No shorts in the dining room. Lobster came on the last formal night and it was two tails.
Almost forgot. One dinner night was open seating because the ship was in port. Was the prime rib night. Don't miss the prime rib even if open seating turns you off.
