Coming home from Corfu (Adriatic Explorer)

Hi,

Our flight home after our cruise doesn't leave until 21.55. Do we have to take our luggage off the Celebration when we dock? We were thinking of looking around Corfu as we will be there all day. Will this be possible?

Yes you should be able too, your luggage is loaded on the dock side nearer your flight time or coach to airport time, find out when this is, then have a a look around Corfu Town. Obviously be back in time for your coach time and remember if you are out all day you probably will not be able to change your clothes when you get back.

There should be somewhere to store any hand luggage you don't want to cart around with you. When we were on the Destiny last week it was in the Oaklahoma lounge. You get a ticket for your luggage which is left on seats, but there is someone watching it all the time.

If you ask at reception, there may be cabins available to have a quick shower in - there was last week on Destiny.

Just watch the luggage scales at Corfu - when we were on the same cruise as you a couple of years ago, the scales were already weighing 2 kilos. :eek: We just hung our cases over the edge and we were fine.

We had this situation when we did this itinerary and we wore shorts and t shirts all day and then changed into jogging pants for the journey home (which we had left in our handluggage in the lounge) we did have a cabin to ourselves to shower and change in but I think we paid 25 pounds for it. they do usually have a cabin where you can have 15 mins to freshen up...We went into the old town of Corfu for a wander and it was lovely!!
