We were on Westerdam last year, had a great time, stayed in a regular verandah cabin -- myself, DW, and DD (then 3, now 4 years old).
We are booked on Zuiderdam this year, and looking at an SY, which we realize will give us more room. But it looks like the SY's don't have the "divider curtain" that separates the pull-out couch from the bed, which worked so well for us last year -- by pulling that curtain, we could tuck our daughter in, let her fall asleep, and we could still keep the lights on by the bed to read at night (rather than turning in at 9pm, when she did).
Anyone have any advice -- SY vs. verandah -- based on this?
In other words, the issue is more about our daughter being able to get to sleep, as opposed to the price difference between the SY and verandah cabins.
Thanks in advance for any insight.
