After coming off the TWT we may feel like washing our jeans, etc. Is it possible right at the lodge? Doesn't sound like a very fun thing to do though ,... if our fellow travelers don't mind maybe we'll just stay dusty and grimy!! We're all in the same boat ... no pun intended.

NeilFan,

You won't be dusty and grimy after the TWT. You sit on a bus "like a school bus" for the entire tour, except for stops at rest areas. I have stayed at the McKinley Chalets twice but don't know about laundry facilities. You could probably find it on their website, but I honestly don't think you will need to worry about it.

I agree; it's highly unlikely that you'll be the least bit sweaty or dusty after TWT. And, probably not even after either of the two optional "hikes" that you can book; they're pretty mellow.

That being said, I can't help at all with laundry facilities. I've been there twice also and cannot say I ever noticed them....

We were in the Chalet Canyon Lodge, which was the newest building at McKinley Chalet Resorts in 9/07, and there was a laundry room right next to the elevator on our floor. I don't know about any of the other buildings (there's about 30 total) but my bet is that you'll find a laundry not far from your room wherever you are.

I think I will look on their web site and see what there is...may not need it from the way you sound. That's great!!

Appreciate all your help.
