What do you do for fun or relaxation aboard a HAL ship? It could be anything from movies, theatre, drinks, hot tub, nap, board game, lecture, auction, shuffleboard, etc. What do you like to do on those sea days, or when you're otherwise entertained?

I enjoy the trivia contests for entertainment. For total relaxation, nothing does it for me like sitting out on the veranda and pondering the passing waves.

I like watching pool competitions.;) Also we (with my DH) participated in ping-pong and Black Jack tournaments.
My DH caught a cold and had to spend more time in cabin that he usually does. HAL ships have very nice sized cabins (our inside room was about 190 sq.ft!!!)...So we would order room service (nice selections!!!) ,make some drinks and watch interesting movie.
I also love to listen Caribbean music and watch waves...and hot tabs...and pool. I am getting so upset I am not there.:(

I like to catch up on my non-fiction reading, walk briskly and swim for exercise and veg on the balcony. Oh, and sleep LATE!

Sleeping until 10:00; lying by the pool; eating ice cream; eating some more ice cream; moving to the promenade deck and doing a little cross stitch while watching the sea go by; going back to the cabin about 4:30; taking a two-hour nap before dinner; etc. etc. As far as I am concerned, the ship doesn't have to stop anywhere. Oh, what I would do for a nap right now, but I don't think the boss would be impressed.

Spend the evening hours in the Lido, reading and enjoying an endless mug of tea. It's quiet and I'm usually alone.

I like having a massage and a drink in a quiet lounge were I can see the ocean going by. then I hop in the hot tub. May be take in a movie. At least that is what I did before on other cruise lines.

I didn't know they had a massage and drink lounge!!! Count me in on that one next time I cruise...;)
I like to spen my days at sea on a lounger on the upper deck so I can feel the wind, away from the bustle of the pool...usually I'll find an isolated area and read and bake in the sun.

After lunch we like to like to read - maybe "tune into" a trivia game - we just play along the sidelines.
After DH has a good afternoon nap - have a drink our on the verandah - read.
Just like to rest!

Stand on the deck and look at the ocean.
Play the "pusher" machine in the casino.
Get a chair on the aft pool deck, a really cold beer and put my feet up on the aft deck rail and watch the wake.
:p Cruises really are comfortable.

After a stenuous few days of shore excursions it is great to have a sleep in, have breakfast in the dining room and then sit on our balcony or deck and read and perhaps see a movie in the afternoon.

Don't laugh ... but the luxury of an afternoon nap does it for me. And, it's even better if the ocean is just a bit "high" and you get that gentle rocking motion to make your sleep even more relaxing.
Just the thought that every need will be taken care of while onboard ... from food whenever you are hungry (and you don't have to prepare it nor clean up after the meal), entertainment, a bunch of planned activities if I care to join in ... all these things make a cruise the most relaxing vacation imagineable for me.
Blue skies ...

I love to read on the veranda. Sure it may look more like a nap than reading, but I do get a few pages read. I also love to watch for flying fish.
