We're cruising to turkey (Tom, that is) next week on the

SS Gravy boat, and I hope my American friends are also. (You Canucks already had yours!) We're off in the morning to spend a few days pre-feast with our families in Md-VA-WVa and NC. And I don't intend to eat any meatloaf, but I will honor the dress code every night (and I will not "pre-tip" the cook :rolleyes: ).

Have a great time Dave. I lived there 10 years, so there are times I do miss it, and my friends, but I'm going up in January....some kind of thing they have going on around the 20th.
Let us know how you like the new monuments, if you go to the Mall. I haven't seen the WWII memorial.

Happy Turkey Day ... for Thursday. We in the "frozen tundra" (Canada) have our Thanksgiving early, that way we aren't tired of turkey when it comes time for another one at Christmas. You folks are still pickin' on the bones when we put our second one in the oven.:D
Go safely and be with your family, thankful for the ones you've got, grateful for the ones you've had, and hopeful for the ones to come.
