A few questions about the ship. Should I bring my own hair dryer ( takes me forever to dry my hair with a good one)
Secondly, do they provide snorkeling equipment on the ship?
Thanks;)

I can answer the 2nd question. . . . they do provide very good snorkel equipment on the PG. Since I haven't sailed on that ship in 5 years, I can't say for sure what type of hair dryers they have:-)

Ack, I saw the hair dryer and it looked smallish. I do not actually use one, so sorry I can't report more! Unless others can say otherwise, suggest bringing your own if it might be an issue. I remember thinking it didn't look very high powered, but again I could be wrong on that!
Yes, the snorkel gear is very good. They will fit your fins correctly when you check it out. If you have any problems with it, the marina staff are very helpful.

The hair dryer worked great for me. Of course, just the towel worked great for me. More sincerely, Mrs. Rally used the hair dryer every day and had no complaints.

If you like your current hair dryer, and packing it in your checked luggage isn't that big a deal, then do it. There's nothing worse than having to spend twice as long drying your hair than you're used to (or having a seriously underpowered dryer with uneven heat that can scorch your hair). Okay, maybe there are SOME things worse ... :D
Pack your own. The fact that you're asking the question indicates to me that you'll be disappointed with the dryers on the ship. (I was.)

Thanks, I think that I will bring my own. As for thr snorkeling equipment, how much do they charge?

There is no charge for the snorkelling equipment. You go down to the Marina in the ship on the first day and get kitted out. You keep it for the duration and then return it at the end of the cruise.

Cannot wait to be on PG - less than four months to go.
