Hotel by the Terminal

We would like to arrive the night before our cruise (of course leaving out of Port Everglades).

Does anyone have any INEXPENSIVE hotel recommendations near the port?

(I would take recommendations in the under 100.00 category, and also in the 100-200 category).

If you use Priceline you can get a variety of hotels/motels in the 2 1/2 star to 4 star range for $50-$100 per night total. I have stayed at the Amerisuites on 17th for a total cost of $56. Hyatt Pier 66 for a total cost of $96. Staying a the Sheraton Airport in April/05 for a total cost of $62.
The areas of the airport - downtown - beach areas are all 5-15 minutes from the port.

Also, the Embassy Suites is right there by the AmeriSuites. It's a very comfortable facility and can be caught with Priceline. I think it's a 3 1/2 star property.
