Thanks for your replies - Our friends who tend to get seasick will book a room towards midship and test some medicines beforehand.

We are still working on our booking. Does anyone know the difference between Oosterdam's (same layout as Zuiderdam) B category (now called VC) and BB category (now called VE), besides the balcony being smaller? There is a B room right next to a BB room where the midsection meets the back section of the ship on the Verandah deck. The internet diagrams say they have the same layout - so is the difference just location, or perhaps view?

Need to book on Monday - All replies would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Jackal, Welcome to the CC Board

I do not believe that there is a difference in size between a B and a BB except the location.

If you tend to get sick, I'll recommend a cabin amid ship. This recommendation is not based on HAL ships, but to 34 years in the Coast Guard, riding al size of ships in all kind of seas, in four Oceans and both Poles.
