We have just received our cabin - a V right under the Lido Restaurant.
We are concerned that we will hear noise from above. Please tell us what to expect.

Thank you.

That area is carpeted; there shouldn't be much, if any, noise. The problem areas are under the pool areas. The noise from moving chairs can be disturbing.

Dear Ruth,

I will sleep better. We are on a 26 night cruise. Noise would be hard to deal with for that many nights.

Do you have a cabin #? We were on the eurodam in April in cabin V8062 and there was no noise of any kind from the lido deck. Have a great cruise! Jena:)

Just got Cabin 8059, which is under the pool area. Is it just during the day that they are moving chairs or during sleep hours? If it is likely to be disturbing during sleep, I think I can get a change of cabins. Recommendation?

TrashhaulerFrom reading here, it seems that the most annoying chair-moving noises come from the crew doing deck cleaning early in the morning. (We've never been there ourselves, so this is hearsay on my part.)

We normally get a V mid ship on Deck 8, and have noticed little or no noise.

Thanks 'jtl513' and 'Typhoon1' for your inputs. I'm an early riser...if it gets too noisy, I'll deal with on the ship...apparently there's lots of room on this cruise (Eurodam 11-27 Aug 09).

Wishing you both safe travels and happy cruising. :)

I think HAL has been having some sales and pushing for sales. We just booked two weeks ago on this same cruise (Eurodam 11-27 Aug 09) and just got our cabin # yesterday. We are VB60xx something (cannot remember right now) near elevators. We are pleased.
