Captain's Reception

As this is only our 2nd cruise on DCL, we are new members of the Castaway Club. Could anyone share the details of the Captain's Reception with us? Is it offered on all (3, 4, 7 night) cruises? Approximate time? Thanks!

I can't remember what night it was, but beleive that it was held at around 5 PM. We were on the 7 day. Finger food and drinks. CM's came around to our table and talked to us abit. Nice.

It is offered on all cruises, but I don't remember the times.

It was a nice reception, drinks both with alcohol or without, some nice finger food, the officers came around and talked to people which was very interesting, we talked to an officer who had his wife and kids on board with him. Then the captain made a short speech and answered some questions, it was a very enjoyable time.

Is this reception with the captain for Castaway Club members for both adults and children?
