Having been surprised at some of the answers on pool attire and etiquette, I'm rethinking my packing and wonder if I had figured too casual for the port visits. What is considered appropriate. I don't usually wear shorts, but wondered if light-weight knit dresses or cotton pants are too casual?

Whether it be a port day or a sea day, during the morning and afernoon, I wear bermudas. Then I change into the appropriate attire for dinner.

i wear long skirts or pants or shorts depending on what I am doing and where I am going. In the Caribeean it is usually shorts or cotton pants. I burn easily so I wear longer sleeves then most. I use a wheelchair so when I dress it has to be easy.

We wear jeans or, if it is really warm, shorts. We've noted that, depending on the cruise, this is what either most or many of the women wear. We prefer colder weather on cruises so we usually wear jeans in port.
