We docked at Havensight! The shopping area was within walking distance, even for me, although there is a free trolley.
The shops are great, I guess, as I am not much of a shopper.
We took the shore excursion to Coral World and Magen's Bay. Coral World is worth another visit - one hour was hardly long enough. Next time we will take a taxi there and stay a bit. Feeding the stingrays was lots of fun - they are unexpectedly tame and kinda rubbery to the touch. Coki Beach was very close to Coral World - but didn't look too appealling to us. Magen's Bay was quite nice - even in the rain. It has restrooms, picnic tables, a bar, and shade for sunny days. Lots of cruisers were there, judging by the Holland America bags and Cunard beach towels - the Queen Mary was docked out in the harbor and had to tender in. Maasdam, with two RCI ships, was docked at Havensight.
Overall St. Thomas appears shabby to me. The roads are atrocious and the drivers are worse! The downtown is congested and needs some TLC. But get out into the country and the island has real possibilities!
