Port Transfers

Hi,

Do Holland America provide port shuttles if you are docked a little way out of the town and if so do they charge? We are calling at St Thomas, Roseau, Curacao and Aruba.

I have never seen any HAL transportation or shuttle in any of those ports. There are always taxis at the dock if it is too far to walk into town to where you want to go.

HAL does not provide any type of shuttles --free or otherwise.

St Thomas -- HAL docks at Crown Bay:
Taxi (safari buses really) rates as posted at Crown Bay for various stops:

Uptown - $4
Havensight - $5
Coki Beach - $10
Sapphire Beach - $11
Red Hook - $11
Megan's Beach - $9

These prices are per person one way.

For Diminica, Aruba, and Curacao -- you dock near town. Anyplace else you want to go to -- you have to take a taxi -- sorry I don't have those rates.

The last several times we were in Curacao the ship was at the new dock and that was a longer walk into Willemstad than many people wanted to do. There were vans and taxis waiting and also waiting in the city to take you back to the ship. I don't know where HAL ships are docking now though.
