NCL doesn't have itineraries for any ship except Pride of America in Hawaii available past April, 2011. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a fair amount of ship and home port shuffling in the works that won't be decided until they're closer to taking delivery of the Epic ,and can evaluate how successful its advance bookings have been on the currently announced itineraries.

I would like to know this as well!! My Fiance and I would love to honeymoon on the EPIC towards end of 2011 and cant wait to find out whats going to happen, if they are going to stay in the current port or if they are going to move around. When I spoke to a NCL person on the phone, they said that they werent sure, but b/c its there largest ship and the carribean is the most popular cruised book - that she thought that it may stay there for a bit

I didn't get the exact date, but it is either leaving Barcelona for the transatlantic 9/23/11, or arriving in Miami 9/23/11.

Jan 26, 2010 - Norwegian Epic to set sail in Europe in 2011 Norwegian Cruise Line’s largest and most innovative Freestyle Cruising ship to date will summer in the Mediterranean
NEW YORK – January 26, 2010 – Norwegian Cruise Line announced today that its largest and most innovative Freestyle Cruising ship to date, Norwegian Epic, debuting this July, will summer in the Mediterranean as part of her 2011/2012 deployment. The ship will sail a seven-day Western Mediterranean itinerary from Barcelona, Spain from May through October 2011. Ports of call include: Florence/Pisa (Livorno); Rome (Civitavecchia); Naples, Italy; and Palma, Majorca, Spain, along with two full days at sea. These cruises, along with the ship’s Caribbean and transatlantic sailings for 2011/2012, go on sale to Latitudes members (Norwegian’s past guests), and the company’s top travel partners on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 and to the general public on Thursday, January 28, 2010. Fares for Norwegian Epic’s Mediterranean itinerary are from $699 per person.
“In bringing the ship to Europe during her second season, we are combining the excitement of Norwegian Epic with a very popular European itinerary,” said Kevin Sheehan, Norwegian Cruise Line’s chief executive officer. “With her world-class entertainment, wide range of accommodations, incredible amenities and plethora of dining options, Norwegian Epic will offer the best cruise experience for a wide-range of travelers looking to enjoy Europe in a whole new way.”
Following her inaugural season, Norwegian Epic will continue sailing her alternating seven-day Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Miami, Florida through April 30, 2011. On May 7, 2011, the ship will depart Miami on an 11-day transatlantic crossing to Barcelona, Spain with one stop in Ponta Delgada, Azores. Upon her arrival in Barcelona on May 18, 2011, the ship will sail a four-day Western Mediterranean sailing with stops in Marseille, France and Palma, Majorca, Spain. She will then sail a series of 22 seven-day Western Mediterranean cruises from Barcelona through October 16, 2011. A 13-day transatlantic sailing from Barcelona to Miami, Florida is scheduled for October 23, 2011 with stops in Ponta Delgada, Azores and St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Once back in Miami, Norwegian Epic will sail a series of 23 seven-day Eastern Caribbean cruises from November 5, 2011 through April 7, 2012. Ports of call on the Eastern Caribbean itinerary include: Philipsburg, St. Maarten; St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands; and Nassau, Bahamas, along with two full days at sea.
To book one of these itineraries or for more information on Norwegian Epic, call Norwegian at 866-234-7350, visit http://epic.ncl.com, or contact a travel professional.

Pricing is up in the booking engine with the catagories - They now can and are charging more for aft facing balcony cabins and those with a oversized balcony.

On the new Epic category layout does anyone see connecting cabins? Is it too small for me to see with the new color categories? I still see it for my sailing. Maybe they just didn't update the new layout?
By the new pricing I would say that all the cabins that look like they have big balconies per the deck plan do have big balconies. I have a few of them booked for my group. I am sure everyone will be happy that I picked those for them.

They are not going to change the catagories on anything that was onsale prior to the annoucement. For the new intineraies going forward on all ships NCL will be using the more detailed system. M for midship, I for inside, B for balcony etc.

They are there, but in very light white arrows. Also the connecting cabins are now in two different categories. I had to look at the deck plans on epic.ncl.com to find the connecting cabins and then go to the NCL booking page to search for these cabins.
Just did a mock booking for 3/24/2012. Category B2 has cabin 14010 available and the connecting cabin 14012 is in Category B3.

The price was great for this 2011 transatlantic, my TA had to call into NCL as the cruise was not showing up. The cost was around $950 for the 11 night cruise. This will be fun to visit the Azores, however it is Epics only stop. Most ships stop on port along the way. Perhaps NCL will add a couple stops in the coming months.

Don't count on them adding any ports. Remember you loose 6 hours going eastbound. The westbound in Oct has even better prices and 2 ports plus an extra 6 hours.

Welcome; I look forward to seeing you on board. I wouldn't mind another port stop, but will also be OK with the sea days if the itinerary remains the same.
There's a roll call started at the link below. It's small now, but I'm sure it will grow in the coming months.
