We will be on the Zuiderdam in December. Is there a phone number that we can leave for our children in case of an emergency?

Hi there!

I will be on the Zuiderdam in December as well. Have you received your cruise documents? In the documents are a couple of tear off cards with how to make shore to ship calls to give to family/friends. I'm not at home so can't give the phone # at this time. If no one else leaves it, I will post it later. In order to receive a call on ship, the person calling you must use a credit card, have your name, the ship name and your cabin number ready. The calls are $16.00/minute...YIKES!!! However, if there is an emergency, this is a good way to contact you on the ship. I hope this helps, and I will check back when I get home tonight to see if you have the phone number. Happy Sailing!

Yes, there will be a list of phone numbers and the procedure for phoning the ship in with your docs. You no doubt have your docs by now with a December sailing, so check and make sure the white card with the list of phone #'s is there. If not, call Ships's Services - 1-800-541-1576.

When you get home, check your documents. There should be a long, white card that can be torn into sections. Two of the sections list all the ships as well as the telephone numbers in case someone needs to contact you while you are at sea. I always give one to our neighbors, circle the ship we will be on in red and write our cabin number beside the ship's name.
