Hello, does anyone have any info on the Private Oasis Package that Holland America offers at Half Moon Cay? I am interested in the price and whether or not it is worth the money!
Thanks. ;)

IIRC, it's $1200 (flat rate) and the cabana will accommodate up to 12 persons. If you get the deluxe package, there's an additional charge and it includes the butler and premium food menu.

If you're in a large group, it's great - However, there's no beachfront and if you're in a group of 10 or less, a pair of cabanas on the beach is just as nice.

There were 10 of us when we got the grand Cabana back in March, We had a butler, bartender and a chef/Griller, the food was fantastic, the drinks were delicious and we had a great time. There was a 8 person hot tub, snorkel equipment/floaters and a slide that went right into the water, as well as a set of stairs. There is not a beach but its not that far away and easy to get to. There is also a hammock, two bathrooms w/hot & cold showers. This was a family vacation and this was a great start to a great trip to Panama. If you can swing the 1200.00 I highly recommend it. That morning the butler comes to your cabin to get you and the other guests and takes you all on the first tender of the day, that way you can really use it to its full potential. Hope this helps!!, Have a great time either way:)

Welcome to Cruise Critic.

Keep in mind that you are expected to tip the people who work in the Grand Cabana.

We had last November. It was great. I posted a review on the Private Island forum and you will find other reviews there. We really enjoyed the time.
