Wondering if anyone has advice on what time to get to Civitavecchia for the 6pm depart time.
We are a party of 6 and plan to book with romecabs.com for transport from Rome so what time should we request a pick-up?
What is the earliest and latest we can get on ship? Have not decided if we want to tour Rome more as long as possible or just get on ship as early as we can.

We were on the May 4th sailing (her first Med cruise :))
We also booked with Romecabs (used them multiple times).
Earliest time ? Not exactly sure but I wouldnt plan on being their too much before noon. We were picked up at our hotel at 10:50 (near Pantheon) and then one other couple after us.....then to port. We arrived about 1:15-1:30 and while there was a short line....it went fast.
Latest time - I believe you MUST be checked in 90 minutes before or you don't go :(

The BEST one in Rome.....Albergo del Senato ! ;)
We had the room on the front with the balcony (#204) and it was awesome. We also stayed there post cruise. Had read wonderful things about it and they were all true and more. I had a hard time deciding whether to spend my time while there on my balcony watching the Piazza della Rotunda or up on the rooftop watching the sunset ! I did alot of both.
