It certainly seems that way to me.

In USA the MSC slogan is "With an Italian Signature"
In the only European Brochure I have seen for 2005 "Crusing as ONLY the Italians KNOW HOW".

THINK Italian! European! Stylish! Sophisticated! Elegant! Panache!
Any of the words that describe life in Italy and modern europe

Not by any stretch of imagination do you think Baseball or Country and Western or some of the other "themed" cruises to which the MSC company has now sunk!!!!!!!!!!!

Some "critics" in their reviews berate the desserts and the pastries.
Just think for a moment - Amaretti, Panettone, Panforte, Savotardi, Cantucci - not a drop of icing, cream or chocolate in these italian classics Desserts - they concentrate on good cheese and fruits and tiramisu is probably the richest of all italian desserts - and of course delicious ice creams and italian trifle.

I will agree that sadly MSC do not carry the best of the italian cheeses - and their Tiramisu is nowhere near as good as mine :-) :-)

At least I haven't seen anything announced about Art Auctions being introduced!

No doubt it will come - along with chocolates on pillows!!

Why we might even get "bunny girls" doing all the waitressing!!

Magwa - don't you like the art auctions?

I love them - I go along and see the auctioneer pretending there are bids on the "art" and all the time I am drinking the free booze. I can usually manage to grab 3 or 4 glasses of free "champagne" although I know its only sparkling wine its quite drinkable stuff.

I enjoy clapping like I am on the "wheel of fortune" show after he "sells" some "art".

I often wonder if the auctioneer , sorry - "art director" knows that we know its a bit of a scam?

The sparkling wine is probably closer to champagne than the "art" is to "real" art.
