Hey fellow cruisers,
 The Oosterdam recently did some pretty major work in re-model and added some rooms. We are booked on a Mexico cruise next April, and noticed our cabin, #7151 has been changed on our confirmation to cabin #7133, but I see no changes in any searches I do - it still shows the cabin number as 7151. You would think they would up-date their files. Can anyone confirm for me what my cabin number really is? Thanks - Don

Which cabin type did you purchase? 7133 is an inside room, and 7151 is an aft corner suite. All of the current deck plans that you find on the HAL website are updated and show the cabins as they are now and for the foreseeable future. Did you book this cruise some time ago?

We booked the corner suite AFT, 7151. According to our TA they changed the room numbers when they added cabins.

In the Carib/Mex brochure thru end-2009, there are two separte deckplans for the Oosterdam.

Prior to April 2, 2009 ... #7155 did not even exist (unless my eyes deceive me), and #7133 was an SB aft corner suite.

Effective April 24, 2009 ... #7151 is an SB aft corner suite, and #7133 doesn't exist at all (the VA cabins on the starboard side jump from #7131 to #7135). This is the same configuration currently shown for the Rotterdam deck on HAL's website.

So, it's confusing ... and it would seem tht something's wrong with the numbering on your booking.

The confirmation you mention ... is that on HAL paperwork or on T/A letterhead or invoice?

Sorry ... amended to agree with brucory that, indeed, #7133 does exist but is an inside.

:D Just got an e-mail from my TA, and yes, we are still in 7151 - TA-DA! Cheesh, what a mixed-uo mess. I just want my corner suite...and I got it. Thanks all. - Don
