This was my first cruise, and I have to say. It was GREAT!
Day 1- The DAY!
Got to the Port around 12pm, and boarded by 3PM...we were sent through many weird stations where some people were selling (well you know what I mean.) Once, I boarded the cruise we were taken to our room on the 8th deck, and it wasn't very spacious but it was good. The roll call was a mess, people wouldn't be quiet...after the boat left everyone settled down, and I made my way to Club Wave (my age group, 10-13, I'm 12). Met about 5 kids, and we hung out until the very last minute on the cruise. Ate at the Rio's....there really wasn't much food at the Rio's buffett, but the food was great! Spent the night at the jacuzzi, while going back to eat pizza like 5 times, with the kids I met, while my mom and her boyfriend slept....went back inside at about 4am, while the club was still full.
Day 2- Bahama Time!
We arrived at the Bahamas, and I didn't get any sleep since I was so excited! We got off the cruise, which was quick and easy! Just gave some guy our room cards, he swiped them, and we were out of there. We got a taxi tour along with some other people, and the driver wanted me to be the "co-pilot!". He took us through the part of the Bahamas they call the "Ghetto", and man, do I feel bad for those people, they have no bathrooms, and no running water :/. He then took us to Atlantis where we got lost, and the driver left, but he eventually came back. Once we were taken back to the cruise my mom, her boyfriend, my grandma, and I, ate at the pizzaria (the pizza was great as well) After that, they all went back to sleep (good thing I don't live with them). So I went back to the club where I met up with the same kids again, and we went back to the Jacuzzi, and then the gameroom till maybe 3:30am?
Day 3- Day at Sea
Well, it was almost time to go. So my family slept, while the kids and I went crazy again! The 5 of us (my new friends) ate at the Rio's buffett, and then attacked the pools, and the girls! :p Swam in the pool until it started to sprinkle, went back in after it stopped. When to the slide, because the 5 of us were following some girls...:rolleyes:, made our way back to club, made reservations at the Crystal (just the five of us again)....and at about 12am, we finally got the girls to come with us until like 3am... (oh and the show in "The View" was great as well!)
Day 4- Aww man :(
Time to go...:mad: Water got turned off for some reason, couldn't shower or anything, ate breakfast, met with my friends, and the girls, got everyones numbers, said our goodbyes....it was kinda emotional, I had LOTS of fun....my family was THE FIRST ONE to get off (YAY:D!, and BOO!:mad:). Departure was maybe about 15 mins. I will go again, and I coulda sworn that I saw VABeach in the pizzaria a few times...I've seen her myspace pictures, just not sure if that was her. Well, this was my first cruise, but certainly not my last!
Mr. 12yr old is out!
My mom already wants to get on this cruise again, since it's expanding to Cuba (WE WERE TOLD MAYBE) later this year, and it's our families home country. Well, anyways, I hate so MUCH FUN!
Oh, and the windows were filthy in our room, but nah, it doesn't matter, I had a great time, see ya later guys. Don't worry, I'll remain active, and I'll still post around...
EDIT: and YES, our room did have AC, and TV's (flat-screen)....I checked the lower deck while they were open for cleaning, and the rumor is true, they have no TV's.
