I am a member of the Mariners Club on HAL, but I keep wondering if those Mariner promos are really a better deal than anybody can get. If so, what do you really get that is better price or service?

The only difference I've seen is a small reduction in price. Probably along the lines of $75-100 less per person for a veranda cabin, for instance. I'll take any break I can get ... but it really isn't all that significant, IMO, when you consider the bottom line.

You should have just recieved a coupon for a $50 - $100 onboard credit per person in the newsletter, if not ask your TA to explore for you.

Cheers!

A couple of months ago we got our Mariner's magazine and there wasn't any couple on it for anything.

Plus if you getting shipboard credit via another means, 99% of th time HAL won't let you combine the credits.

Those prices aren't really that good and then HAL puts a lot of restrictions on - certain dates - certain categories., etc.

Another problem is finding air travel reasonable enough for that time, or if it is even available.

The battery operated blender, is it available in any of these promotions. lol

Mariner, Smariner. Blenders unite! Good deals come from really good TA's that care about "your" trip. Bring aboard what you can and meet fun and interesting pax. :p Verandah rooms really help your perspective!
