When I first booked an AC Penthouse on a February 2011 cruise, the price difference compared to a Courtyard Penthouse was very large. Today, a second major price increase on the AC, while holding the Courtyard price steady, has drastically reduced the differential. Interesting, if puzzling, marketing strategy.

Simple answer. The ACs were a bargin and first to sell out. All the perks of the courtyard but a lot more exercise to enjoy them. They opened waitlists for the Epic transatlantic this week and all the ACs were gone in less then 24 hours. NCL like any company will price them at what the market pay.

I am, too. Looks like I'll be cruising in a cabin that's priced entirely out of my range.

At this rate, the pseudo-price for the TA might wind up being accurate!!! :eek:
