On Princess, I know that the Caribe deck, the balcony is bigger than on the other decks. Is there any deck that has a bigger verandah deck than the others, We are planning on taking the Veendam.

On the Veendam there are difference on the size of the balconies from one deck to another.

The PS and S suites have the largest verandahs.

All the A, B, BB, BA and BC balconies are all the same size.

The new BQ balconies are the smallest of them all.

It depends on what type of cabin you want/need. According to HAL's website, Veendam has several HC cabins. HAL has two types of cabin - fully wheelchair accessible and partial mobility access. Fully whelchair accessible has a wider door for wheelchair/scooter, ramp into bathroom, more room for wheelchair access, and a roll-in shower. A partial mobility access cabin has assistance bars and a shower w/ seat for but has step up into bathroom and standard door.

Deck 4 (A deck) has 4 ocean view cabins (G704. G706, G709, and G711) that are fully wheelchair accessible.
Deck 4 (A deck) has 2 ocean view cabins (FF829, FF831) that have partial mobility access.

Deck 5 (Main deck) has ocean view cabins (H501, H502, D567) and 1 interior (L500) that are partial mobility access.

Deck 6 (Lower Prom Deck) has 4 ocean view cabins (C331, C333, C390, C397) that are fully wheelchair accesible.

Deck 9 (Verandah deck) has 2 balcony cabins (BA200, BA202) that have partial mobility access.

Deck 10 (Navigationdeck) has 1 suite (S030) that has partial mobility access.

Here is a link to the Veendam page on HAL's website. There is a link for the deck plans on the right side of the page.
