DW's entire family still live in England. They tell us that strikes and labor work to rule is all too common there. They can't wait for an election and an opportunity to get rid of Gordon Brown and the Labour Party which they blame for the lousy labour and economic situation there. Let's hope whatever happens with the airport workers that it does not negatively impact the hard-earned vacations of cruisers and other travellers.

The strike is indeed off at those two airports and we in fact updated our story -- but, for now, Manchester is still on. Fingers crossed union workers there will postpone until after the bank holiday as well!
