Has anyone used Priceline for hotels in the Cocoa Beach area pre or post cruise from Port Canaveral?
SInce I don't want to bid too much, I would appreciate any feedback about bidding for this location. Another board advised that you could get a hotel in Cocoa Beach for $20.00 per night. I have been to Cocoa Beach (13 years ago) and found most of the hotels to be almost one grade above flop houses. I am certain they have built some nice hotels since then, especially with the cruise traffic and all the tourists coming to the Port.
Since I don't want to get stuck.........wisdom from other board members will be appreciated. We have gotten great hotels in Miami and Fort Lauderdale in the $35 - $45 range.
