SLIPPERS to Cruise in

Those of you that know Ruth and myself know that i have quite a few pairs of animal slippers (54 pair this am) and have a lot of fun with them on the cruise ships.

Was in Wall Mart today and they have their christmas collection in and I could not resist the temptatin. Got and additional 15 pairs for myself and the same for Ruth. Girl at the checkout counter thought i was crazy when I went to check out. Asked me if I had a lot of grandkids and then I told her that they were all for me and my wife..........

Got a lot of new one for December cruise on the Veendam. I wonder what the captain will thing on formal night when I wear Sponge Bpb Squarepants?????????

Get them - they are the latest rage. Since you bought 15 pairs of slippers EACH, we assume that at least one pair is yellow - that should work.

And don't forget your black and whites for formal nights and if the Veendam has a Black & White Ball - then you are all set.

Your new slippers sound great. Looks like I can't wear high heals anymore so I might just "borrow" your idea of slippers. Hope having another "Ruth" in slippers doesn't confuse the issue.

Jim and Ruth, glad to see that the hurricanes haven't hurt your shopping genes! How is the house coming? Any e.t.a. as to when you should be able to move into the renovated remains? Will Christmas be at home or in the rental? Hope you're taking pictures of the progress - we in the frozen tundra are looking forward to seeing them. Give Ruth a hug from us.
