I have read about the pickpockets on the message board. I need to always carry medication with me. Is this something that might be stolen? I thought I would take my large pill organizer with me (size of a medium notebook) and put it in a large zipper pocketbook (I plan on leaving extra medication in my cabin). Any thoughts on my plan or suggestions for a better plan? I must have the pills with me.

You will be fine taking your pills with you.I would take just what you need for your time off the ship and maybe use a smaller pill carrier.Just MHO and won't be so bulky.Save room for shopping items:D

Those who pickpocket are primarily looking for passports (yes passports) and for money and credit cards and other valuables.

They are looking for passports, credit cards and money but will take whatever comes out if only to toss it when its worth is not immediately dicernable. Keep the pills to a minimum and the vigilance to a maximum.
