We have the full Epic brochure and were wondering, Will movies be shown on the big screen in Spice H20 during the day? Although that would be hard to see. In the daytime it will be an adult only pool area and in the evening an adult only beach club with drinks and dancing. So what do you think? Just a pool in the day or movies too?

Dunno, but doesn't seem to make sense to have the ship's movie theater in an area barred to kids.

They already said it's a pool during the day and a dance club at night. No movies persa.

I found the following description of the area in the Cruise Critic Float Out and Ship Tour Photos:
Here's the aft-situated Spice H20, a combination sun deck, movie theater and nightclub. NCL reps tell me they haven't nailed down exactly how the space will be used (early indications were that it would be an adults-only Ibiza or South Beach-esque nightspot, perhaps with a cover charge; that idea may be partially amended to include family-friendly movie nights before the club music starts blasting). The seating is amphitheater-style, which works for both multi-level dancing and movie viewing.
Looks like anything is possible at this point...

I don't think a projection system would be viewable at all in the day time; there's just too much natural light. I see no reason they couldn't show a movie in the early evening when it's dark enough to see but that would be over early enough for some dancing under the stars. When we were on the Pearl last January, my daughter was able to come with me a couple of times to karaoke before it became 'adults only' and it was fun. Of course, it will depend on when the sun sets...

It's a bit surprising that a ship this size doesn't have an outdoor movie screen. We've enjoyed them on both Princess and Carnival.
