We sail on the Amsterdam in South America next week. Can someone tell me if shampoo and conditioner are furnished, and if so, what quality. Is it in little bottles or one of those dispenser things on the shower wall? I'm debating about bringing my own. Also is it true that every cabin has robes?
I won't pack one if they are provided.

I always bring my own shampoo and conditioner, but if I remember correctly, the shampoo and conditioner provided by HAL are all very nice. No, they are not in dispensers on the wall, well as of last March they weren't.
All cabins, inside, outside, mini suites, suites and the penthouse suite all have robes.

Amsterdam - what a beautiful ship you will be - enjoy your South American cruise.
The shampoo and conditioner - all in one - at one time HAL used to have separate bottles but now they buy a Royal Dutch brand. Husband has skin problems but has never had any problems with either HAL's soaps or shampoo/conditioner.

If you follow Arubalisa's link to "robes" you will find my comment that they are "one size fits most".
Forewarned is forearmed.

Forewarned is forearmed. Ah, but what is YOUR definition of "most"? :D
Is that like the definition of what "is" is? ;)
