Each ship has a web cam. You can see them when you are on ship. HAL chooses not to have them on line. I wish they were on line but they are not. I think Princess has the best web cams around. Celebrity used to have them and you could see them at Kroooz-cams dot com but when Royal Caribbean purchased Celebrity they went off line.

Sorry to drag up this old thread, but nobody seemed to answer why HAL has no webcams. After all, Cunard, Princess, Costa, Carnival, P&O, all of which are CCL corp. mates have them, and HAL has such unique itinerarys and ports of call, that it's a shame they don't put their bridgecams on the web.

Perhaps our friend Dutch By Asssociation could tell us why HAL does not let their ship cams on the internet. I would live to see the HAL ships on krooz-cams dot com.

Dutch By Association's thread has now become a sticky so it is very easy for him to see people's questions and answer them without his having to search this entire board.

Why not ask the question there?

There are three ooo's in kroooz-cams.com, just in case anyone wants to check out the site. EM

Hate to disagree, but Crystal web cams are outstanding! You can see from 4 different angles. Have seen some outstanding sun sets on them.

True. For their large size and picture clarity, you can't do better than Crystals cams. And they refresh every few minutes, so you can do a virtual sail-a-way with them.
Carnival, and Costa offer both a forward and aft (lido area) cam view. And they also include itinerary and position info.
Celebrity lost its cams not when purchased by RCI, but when they ended their contract with the computer-at-sea company that ran its internet cafe's and also posted the bridge cams onto the web.
RCI has only one web cam showing the Royal Promenade on the Voyager.
They had some on the Explorer, but they ended when the sponsoring U. of Miami ocean labs program ended.
