Just got off the zaamdam on september 11th...it was my 3rd holland america cruise and it was great..
For all those going to ketchikan----i highly recomend the
bering sea crab fishermans tour...it was outstanding...they had
heaters above where you sat. Plus they had coats that came to
your knees to wear if needed.. We saw lots of crabs and got to
hold a couple different kinds.. We also saw eagles getting fish
from the water----way cool...:):):):)

Glad you enjoyed the Cruise. Were the salmon still running at Ketchikan and were there any bears near town catching fish?
