First time Med cruiser on Gem

Got an incredible price on 7night Gem cruise from Barcelona on an airline employee website leaving Sept. 27 as my husbands Mom just passed and I had to get him away. Have never cruised the Mediterranean before and don't have money for expensive excursions but would like to get off in ports and sightsee on our own. How do we do this cheaply in Valletta,Naples, Rome,Florence, Cannes and Barcelona? We had no time to save and couldn't pass up the great deal, but would feel cheated if just stayed on board. And how do we get from BCN airport to port? HELP ANYONE!!!!!

You should post on the regular NCL board not here on the Epic board. Also look under roll calls for your sailing and you can ask questions of people on your same sailing.
