I will be on board a HAL ship for New Years Eve! What type of activites/Favors does HAL do/provide?

We were on the Maasdam last year for NYE and had a blast!
Party hats and tiaras were handed out at our formal (and fabulous) dinner, and there was a New Year's Eve Officers' Ball that started at 10:30 pm and continued until about 1:00 am. Very festive with continuous live music and dancing. There was a countdown to midnight, and they released lots and lots of silver, white, and black balloons from the ceiling of the showroom.
Extremely generous quantities of complimentary champagne were offered as the New Year approached :)
Traditional Dutch cuisine foods were served outside the Showroom, Crow's Nest, and Casino between 12 and 1 am.
There was also a "Welcome to 2009 Disco" in the Crow's Nest starting at midnight, with special guest appearances by Father Time and Baby New Year. We ventured up there around 1 am and the party was going strong!
We had such a wonderful time spending the Holidays with HA, that we're doing it again this year!
