Is the CC Search Function down?

I tried to search for the last "Does your search work" Thread ... but my search isn't finding anything since August 25th. Is it just me, or are others having trouble too?

I just tried it for the complete forum, same search and came up with http://boards.cruisecritic.com/search.php?searchid=14440261

I know it has been erratic for a couple of weeks....

It's a known problem - check the Announcements at the top of the thread list.

And it's not just "all posts by member" as LauraS says either ... it's finding nothing after 8/25 for me!

Edit: a retraction - it is now finding a few things after 8/25 for me, but a lot are being missed still.

I missed it too until I sent an email to the moderators:o. As soon as I did I saw the announcement.

When several people mentioned that they were trying to use the search function -- and couldn't find anything -- about 3 weeks ago -- I looked and found the message.

Felt sorry for people doing the searches only to have others jump on them.
