I am booked on the Caribbean Princess, in September, and was wondering how the two cruises compared, in your opinion. Thanks. Do you have a review somewhere of the Oosterdam and the CP?

Yes I plan to do a write up on both cruises but I am trying to word it so that I do not get slammed;) The two cruises were very different and enjoyed both. What was great was we also were on the bridge on the Caribbean Princess with Captain Romano, even were able to blow the whistle as we left the port of St. Maarten.

If you want I do have the pictures of the Caribbean Princess also and can post later. Let me know.....

Deb, personally I would love to see the Princess pics. I've never been on Princess but have a friend who raves. And I'd be really interested in your thoughts and comparisons. I certainly wouldn't "slam" you and I don't think anyone who matters would. After all, it's your judgement, your opinion from your perspective. I like to hear the good and the bad.

I think the only thing that ever gets me mad is when people just have nothing good to say about anything. Then I have to wonder what their agenda is because no matter how much things may go wrong I simply can't imagine the entire cruise being ruined. Although I think the story of no a/c for the entire week would probably put me over the top!!!:D

Nice pictures of the OOSTERDAM. I think we were next to you in the aborted attempt to anchor at Half Moon Cay on November 15th. I was on the Volendam. We were just finishing up and you guys were just starting out. How are things at Grand Caymen? Have they recovered from the Hurricane yet?

Debi, I just got the chance to see your Oosterdam pictures how wonderful!! And Isn't Captain Jonathan Mercer wonderful. He still is my favorite Captain:) Please tell how you got the chance to visit the Bridge let alone be able to take picture while in the Bridge. I am so hoping that when we go back on the Oosterdam this next October than Captain Mercer will still be the Captain. It sure looks like you had a great time. Thanks for sharing your photos.
