Hi guys.
I was reading about the NCL Epic and i went online looking for the real definition of the word EPIC
According to merriam-webster, its extending beyond the usual or ordinary especially in size or scope. And I have to agree, if you compare it to others cruise line. NCL epic has one of the smaller cabin size with 100 sq ft. EPIC cabin sizes are smaller than the sky= year 1999.

Last but not least , I wont mention anything about the price , Epic :)

Not all cabins are that size, and trust me, they've taken a lot of consideration into the layout of the cabin and it's convenience. Size isn't everything.
BTW.. Your tags on this thread are hilarious.

I think these Studios are made for maximum appeal for solo cruisers, or those that would rather socialize and only sleep in their stateroom:
"Only on Norwegian Epic will you have the opportunity to experience all the Studios & Living Room have to offer. For starters Studio guests have private key card access to The Living Room which is a shared private lounge that boasts a bar, two large TV screens and comfy seating...perfect place to hang out. When it's time for a little R&R escape to your urban pad, complete with room for two, a window view to the corridor, funky lighting and flat screen TV. This completely new exclusive key card access-only category is unlike anything you have ever experienced before. "
If I were solo cruising, I'd definitely choose this over a standard interior.

I am waiting for the day that the solo cruiser will not have to pay double for a stateroom......

I agree. I would choose one of the studio cabins if it were just my husband and I - or a friend and I. If it were my daughter and I, it would be different; I have a feeling the 'living room' is not going to be particularly 'family appropriate'.

The only cabins that are 100 sq ft are the STUDIOS. the studios are not set up like a regular cabin, they are basically for sleeping only - they have access to the private lounge with big screen TVs and bar setup. BTW, you spelled sense wrong.
