Getting excited about our Panama Canal cruise, December 2, 2009. Celebrating 42 years wedding anniverisary. Surprise gift from Mike. Nice job! Looking forward to meet and greet. :rolleyes:

Welcome! Happy anniversary! I wish my husband would get me a cruise for our anniversary but I have to book it myself. At least he doesn't mind cruising.

What a wonderful surprise!! Happy Anniversary!!! 42 years is a long time and quite obviously you have him well trained:D

Your comment about well trained is questionable, She may think she has me well trained but I was the one wanting to see the Panama Canal and She is just going along for the ride as a non paying guest. :D:D

LOL, you just think you are the boss IVaSong!!:D:D You are talking to the worst half in a 39 year marriage (if he lets me live till November 4th, that is):D
Seriously though, Congratulations to you both!! There are so few of us who make it past the firsy few years. And if we think on it, we are all trained by our spouses if we survive the first few years together:)

I didn't expect a reply that quickly and I could not help but laugh at your response but you are correct, Her letting me think I'm the boss give me a sense of authority (even though I may not have none).
I believe congratulations are also in order as this is such a rarity in our society today. :)
You are so right as both spouses must sometimes meet halfway and yes, we educate each other and our love grows stronger in each passing year.
Once again We would like to extend an early Congratulations to you and your better half on your 39th :).
