We are so excited about sailing Hal out of Ft Laud. on Oct 24, eastern Carr. route. First, we understand that off Lido is Canaletlo, is there a fee and are reservations required? If required, can we book thru Hal now or day of sailing? What ports on this route have tender service to the docks? Thanks y'll!

The only place you have to use a tender is Half Moon Cay.

We found the Canaletto to be one of the best additions on the Eurodam. I would highly recommend that you eat there atleast once, and I would do it early in the trip, because there is a very good chance you'll want to eat there a second time. Try the Penne Alla Vodka, you won't regret it!!

We never did get to try Canaletto but we did the Tamarind for lunch one day (free with a reservation) and it was amazing!! As for tender, as trophy_23 mentioned, we only had to tender at Half Moon Cay. We waited until about 10 and had no problem at all. Have fun, it is amazing!

If you look at the itinerary on the HAL website tender ports will be indicated with the code 'TR'. As others have posted, Half Moon Cay would be the only one on your cruise.

There is an underscore after polar and an underscore after bear.

Our Meet & Greet is Oct. 25, 10:00 a.m. in the Crows Nest. We are also planning a cabin crawl.

If interested I need the following information as I am making name tags and AB1948 is organizing the cabin crawl. We need first names, cabin # and where from.

Hope you will join us. The more the merrier

Nancy;)

Canaletlo does 'require' reservations, but we ate there twice with 'walk up' reservations. The downside of Canaletlo is the menu does not change.

Yes, dialling extension 98 connects you to the cheerful reservations person.

Ditto the recommendation to try Tamarind for dinner. It is FAB-U LOUS! Canaletto is just OK, in my humble opinion. We ate there twice - once just 'us' & once with another couple - with no prior reservation. In both instances, we walked up and were seated right away.

The Eurodam is a beautiful ship - you will love her! We cruised on her last October on her repositioning cruise from Quebec - Ft. Lauderdale.

Enjoy your cruise & Smooth Sailing! :)
