Both Veendam and Zaandam scored a great 96 at their recent USPH Inspections. Well Done!

So glad these two ships rec`d such high marks, although it doesn`t surprise me! I`ve always found them to be clean and ship shape.....jean :cool:

Just read that Celebrity Century flunked with a 79. "Adult and juvenile cockroaches" were part of the problem. UGH!


I suppose some of the juveniles included dreaded "teenagers."

I'm not at all surprised about the Zaandam as we were on her the week of Thanksgiving. The ship was spotless and the handcleaner dispensers were located in the Lido restaurant and as you reboarded from visiting the islands. Passengers seemed to be using the dispensers, too. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the ship.

We used those dispensers when we were on the Statendam.

Heard somewhere that HAL was able to get flu serium for all their crew members.

Does anyone know if this true?
