I've taken the bus from Otrobanda to Westpunt, as well as around the bay and back to Punda. The website is still under construction, but you should be able to find timetable information here. http://www.autobusbedrijf.com/EN/

The timetable is supposedly sold at the stations, but having been there on a Sunday when things were closed I did not pick one up. But if anyone has a "Buki di Bus," I would certainly enjoy it if a scan of its contents were posted here.

That being said, will that route take you any of the beaches?

I'm not a beach person--my fair skin causes me to burn easily and the sun makes me uncomfortably hot--and I have not been to the beaches there. But that being said there are a number of beaches throughout the island. According to one guide book:

Westpunt is known for its gigantic cliffs and the Sunday divers who jump from them into the ocean below. This public beach is on the northwestern tip of the island. Just south of Westpunt is Knip Bay, which has beautiful turquoise waters. On weekends, live music and dancing make the beach a lively place. Changing facilities and refreshments are available. Playa Abao, with crystal-turquoise water, is situated at the northern tip of the island.

Route 9A goes from Otrobanda to Westpunt, and it is a long but scenic trip. You might also want to use route 6A from Punda to Caracasbaai. This route passes by the Sea-Aquarium and some of the beaches to the southeast.
