Hi,

I'm new to Cruise Critic and trying to figure it all out still but so excited as I just booked the transatlantic. Anyone else on this cruise?

The Southampton to NY transatlantic is the only revenue cruise if I correctly understood what was said during their presentation . The others are for travel professionals and press by invitation only. The NY to Miami repo will carry no passengers at all due to US law.

We will see what happens. The Gem 2 night before the first full cruise from the UK was open only to travel professionals and press initially. There really are not enough in the UK to fill even the much smaller ship. They opened it later for the general public. Could happen with the Epic.

Here's the rollcall for that cruise. Things are a little "interesting" right now.

Those of us on the rollcall not involved in all the unpleasantness are not find it interesting, just distressing.

I went to the thread and it is massive...can someone give a quick recap of what is so 'interesting' right now?

Nothing - a couple people had a bit of a "style" conflict. The thread has been cleaned up as it should have. The biggest problem was those not on the cruise dropping in to stir the pot.
