VOLENDAM - Refit When?

Anyone know which month the Volendam is due for 'her' refit this coming year - I believe it is in April/05 but wld appreciate a confirmation. Know what is done exactly during an 'average' refit? Thanks in advance & happy cruisin'!!

Her dry dock is in December and her first cruise with the Signature of Excellence is January 2, 2006.

The schedule I was given ( from a ccer here on these boards) -

Volemdam - dry dock - Dec 4 - 19, 2005 - that's when she will get her SOE.

I can't see them taking a ship our of commission during the Christmas/New Year's holiday period. They would lose too much money. However, I have seen another schedule that says her SOE amenities will be completed by January 2, 2006, so I don't know which one is right. It's very confusing, so guess we will just have to wait until the 2005 Holiday schedule comes out to see if they are actully taking her into drydock during the holidays. :confused:

An old schedule I have gives the dates that KK posted. :confused:

She was in drydock for 10 in April of this year.

In the 2005 Holiday brochure I have, it shows the Volendam doing a 7 day Western Dec 19th and a 7 day Eastern Dec26th. I`ve never known Volendam do 7 dayers before.....jean :cool:

According to my tickets, Volendam sails on January 5 not January 2.

Winks - I was talking about December 2005, not 2004

I contacted by "source" and he said they would be in dry dock early December 2005, so I am sure that KK is correct in the dates she has posted. Jean seems to have confirmed that with the dates she has posted from the 2005 Holiday Brochure.
